North Queensland mother charged with attempted murder of daughter

Police received several triple-0 calls from the area alerting them to a disturbance at a Dysart home around 4:15pm yesterday. Mackay Acting Detective Inspector Emma Novosel said police arrived to find the 17-year-old girl stabbed six times in the chest. Police are still at the scene today investigating.
